The railway is the Ferrovia Vigezzina-Centovalli, the international narrow-gauge railway that links Domodossola with Locarno. A route of 52 kilometers between Italy and Switzerland on the small blue and white trains meanders through the Vigezzo Valley and the ‘Centovalli’ region, offering one of the finest panoramas in Italy between Piedmont and the Canton of Ticino.
